Unistellar eVscope Shipment
Another day has gone by since the ordering of the new Unistellar eVscope. UPS tracking is working well as I watched the one box parcel reach Alaska today. This is the last departure point in the USA, as the next air flight is the long one lasting 12 hours directly to Taiwan.
In the meantime, I'm researching the web learning everything I can find. One gem appeared as a Unistellar telescope review in Astronomy Now, one of my favorite UK astronomy magazines. However, going to the book store and buying a printed copy is "foreign" expensive and exhausting in the 118 degree heat. Plus, after the collections of ink and paper printed magazines build up, they can push you out of house and home.
I've also notice the magazine font size of most magazines has drastically decreased, attaining a micron print presumably to print the same information quantity but with less number of pages to economize and save money. The solution for me is to buy the online digital PDF copy and save it on the hard drive. As these magazines are made electronically by computer, you can choose any font size and the images are all amazing!
