Supernovae in Messier Catalog Galaxies

Listed below are the 62 supernovae (+ one non-SN former candidate) discovered in Messier's galaxies, plus one in the "surplus" galaxy M51B (NGC 5195), and two in surplus M109B (NGC 3953). Also note short table sorted by galaxy. Parts of the data taken from the CfA/Harvard All Supernova List. Reference https://www.messier.seds.org/xtra/supp/sne-m.html
