This was part of an experiment using stacked and unstacked focal reducers and a test of the handheld iPhone camera. Since that time, a Celestron NexYZ was purchased for direct stable mounting of the phone camera.It's interesting to note the mount will handle the AFOCAL method of astroimaging, which should prove very interesting using the large 2-inch diameter TeleVue 55mm EP vs stacked reducers. The $65.95 NexYZ fits any eyepiece from 35mm to 60mm in diameter including telescopes with 1.25” and 2” eyepieces, spotting scopes, monoculars, and binoculars.
